Just picked a 8lb pack of Costco boneless, skinless thighs Sunday for $1.99 lb. I've never purchased these before, I'm guessing I can treat them like breasts for recipes.

I have not seen boneless and skinless thighs in the stores.

But yes I would treat them the same , but thighs are a little juicer
in my opinion. So they can be brined and injected . But might not need it as much as breasts.

Yes, you can. Since it is dark meat, cooking to a higher temp than white meat chicken is a good idea. I'd try something like this:
If you do not have the Trompo, just grill and assemble.

I smoke 1, sometimes 2 bags every two weeks for my diet prep. They are not uniform and you need to watch for the rare bit of bone. I thaw them and throw a simple rub on them. In they go at 250 or 275 and they are done before the breasts. They never dry out on me and I never brine them. They're great in salads or soups or even on their own.
