Looking for a good jelly recipe for cherries.  Just got a bunch of them pitted and ready for the freezer but want to make jelly too

sparky, evening.....  bride just took a bunch of sweet cherries, pitted and added to a SS sauce pan on low heat...  added a vanilla bean and some sugar.... after it reduced to a thick sauce added some orange zest and removed the bean...  we had to put it on vanilla ice cream....  pretty good sauce...   it needs some tweaking like maybe the electric motor boat thing to smooth out the chunks and more acid for tang....

We have some outstanding cooks on this forum that may see this and help out....   Bride is going to attack the cherries again tomorrow and who knows what changes will take place....  by the way, she never measures anything, and never writes down recipes either.... Dave
