Can monitor temperature from anywhere

I got a D-Link camera (@ $35 it was the cheapest I could find) got an iPhone app for free. I position the camera to "see" the receiver and I can now leave the house and keep an eye on the smoker and meat. On top of that it turns out it has a built in microphone too, which I didn't realize when I bought it.

Very ingenious. Now all you need is a character recognition software so you can plot the temps.

Actually I do plot the two temps in an Excel spreadsheet complete with graphs.

Huh? How do you get your temps entered in Excel?

I manually enter them.
