I see in another thread where, since the weather is awful, the smoker was moved in to the garage. The general response seems to be that it's a good idea. WRONG!!!
I would like to relate that a week ago, on another forum, pix were put up showing the guy's Spicewine smoker that got away from him and burned to the ground. It was about 10 feet away from the house and burned the siding off the house. This was from a steel stick-burner.
Please, let's use our heads here.
If the weather is awful, don't take a chance with your loved ones or your house. Your hobby is not worth your family dieing in a horrible fire or being smothered by carbon monoxide.
Always respect fire. Keep fire away from the house. Be very careful. Live to enjoy the holidays and see 2008.
