I am looking at building a homemade smoker which will be 4’x4’ and 8 foot tall. I am mainly building to cook & smoke sausage. Wondering what my options for burners and control systems are. Would like to run off propane.

You can get components and control systems from aliexpress dot com

I use that site for most of my project work.

Good pricing but takes a while to deliver because you are getting the stuff right from China instead of having an American company put their name and price mark-up on it.

Check out bayou classic store dot com, opening page is what I use in my 36" x 36" x 8 ', has a nice needle valve. Put under steel plate and put soaked dust on plate. Works great.

Due to your being handy, you could buy a Backyard Pro burner by itself for $14.99 a stainless hose with regulator for another $14.99, and call it good.

Yep, I went with a Stanport, like this (15000btu) when I modded my WSM18
