My GOSM always burns hot.  Can't get below 225 F reliably.  Installed the gas needle valve a few yrs. back.  But didn't like the low flame and blow out hazard.  So, I found a Weber side burner @ the dump.  I believe its 10k  BTUs?  Anyway, its smaller than the original GOSM burner.  I took the whole pan and installed it under the GOSM w/self-tapping sheet metal screws.  Plumbed it to a variable regulator and voila!  80 F no problem!  Then I added the remote smoker.  Standard duct work adapters.  Had the Weber Smokey Joe in the basement.  Used it for Boy Scouts, we are done with that.

Works great!  Enjoy

Great timing, I tried to smoke some kielbasa yesterday in the Masterbuilt and couldn't get it below 170. looks like I'll be taking a ride to the dump.
