Burn out for my Drum

Ok...Im picking up my Drum on Saturday. I was looking form the post/thread on how to prepare the drum before the smoker. and the plans to make it.

Can someone point me in the right direction. The steel drum is a 55 gallon olive oil drum.

There's no need to burn that drum out. Just wash it out and season it, your done.

Does it have the coating in it??
