Building a Stainless smoker, have a question

Im building a stainless smoker and have a quick question. Im starting to make the openings in the fire box and smoke chamber, I was wondering how to keep the door from swinging back all the way? Special hinges? not sure i like the chain idea unless i have too. Also anyone have recomendations on hinges and handles, preferably stainless on the hinges and wood handle. Thanks !

2 strips bent into a V about 4" tall weld where the door will stay open without the chance of a lite wind blowing it down on your head,check out pit boss pellet machine to see how they do it

If using standard butt hinges, If you take out the hinge pin and give it a love tap w/hammer it will slightly bend hinge pin and put resistance on hinge.

Cool build. I'm jealous. What gtaw or gmaw? Super cool. Looks really clean so far. That firebox is long. How are you going to support the fb?

Where the counter weight can bump against the back of the CC when your door is fully open (to where you want it).
