Hello All! I'm new to this forum and website for that matter and I'm here to tell you this is a great website and love the forums, lots of info and advice and thats why I'm here, for help. Like I said earler the pit will be built from scratch I will roll 1/4" carbon steel into a cylinder about 26" dia x 72" long and will have a firebox at the rear. I will also try to include water trays under the grates for added moisture, my delima is where to put or how to install the diffuser plates. I also need a 101 on the physics on how you make the smoke travel evenly through the pit. Also how big should the opening be for the firebox to the smoker? This smoker will look somewhat like smokerrookie's pit, but need some tips or suggestions on this matter. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks and looking forward to ya'lls input. Great Que'n Everybody!

Thanks!
