My buddy in the rv park comes down and asks if I'll do a small brisket for him. I say yes so he shows up with a 17 pounder. Put it in at 0530 with a pan underneath to catch the drippings.

 
Chin up...a little rain will help the brisket smoker stay low and slow.  It's all good.  Can't wait for more photos.
 
Good thing you had enough room for that beast!
 
I had to let the awning in since the wind was blowing it against the camper!
 
Cut a slice to check it and it needs to rest a little longer. Lot of juice still coming out but it stays together until a slight tug.
