Brisket Chili

Used TNJAKE TNJAKE recipe with some smoked brisket that been in the freezer.

Thawing the Brisket. Of coarse in couldn't have been in the freezer that was left open.

Chopped some onion and garlic.

Got spices ready. Added some cayenne pepper.

Some beer for the chili and some for me.

Sliced than chopped brisket. The flat was really good. Saved some for later.

Only cooked about 45 minutes with the brisket all ready tender.

Added some GR hot sauce. That stuff good. Big Lots selling HK hot sauce sets for $10. Really needed a habenero for me but did not have any.

Did you buy the hot sauce in store or on line ?
 
Looks good Brian! Jake has some good recipes! Gonna have to do another brisket and give this a go also.

Looks delicious Brian. Glad you liked my recipe. Nice add on the cayenne. The only reason I don't add it is because I add in hot ground sausage which already has cayenne and red pepper flakes. The beer is what I really like about the recipe.

That chili really tasting good now. This will be my go to recipe.
