Brinkmann smoker

hi i'm new to smoken. i'm thinking about buying a Brinkmann cimarron smoker.will this smoker work right out of the box. are do you have to do any mods to it. thanks

Convection plate from Horizon and stack mod ala Texas Hunter. I have a Stillwater which is very similar to the Cimarron. These 1/4" steel smokers are a high quality fully welded cooker but as with most offsets, still require mods to make them operate effectively. I guess to answer your question it will work out of the box but these mods will make it work much better for you. Hope this helps with your decision.
