Just went to SamsClub and found a 3-pack of 6 quart NSF Certified containers for $13. Thinking I'll use these for my first attempt at Canadian bacon. Cool!!

Hey Mike...I think you are repeating yourself  /  repeating yourself....

Nice find...I use the Lowes 5 gal buckets for about $4.00 each but these look like a good deal!

they are big enough for the pork loins but small enough to fit in my fridge! I'm ready to try it. At SAMs they were in the section where the professional cookware / supplies were.

Or you could go to the bakery at your local grocery store and ask for an empty frosting pail, food safe and free.

I just scored two 3 gallon buckets from a local grocery store's bakery. Best thing they were free.

I have those exact same ones and got them from Sam's as well. I also have the 12 qt. I love them for brining and they are very sturdy, gonna last a long time I think.

I like the size of those.  Normally, I buy 5 gal pickle buckets from Firehouse Subs.  They are only a couple of dollars and they come with a lid.  The money is also donated to local firehouses.  The problem with the Firehouse buckets is that I have to clean out one of my fridges to fit it.

I love Glad 2 1/2 gallon Ziplock bags for brining. They're pretty cheep, and you can throw away after using :)
