Lilricky, I tried the "Fassett's Breakfast Sausage Seasoning" on Smoinhusker's list and I really liked it. After making it a few times I ended up tweaking it a bit to my own taste (Hotter, more sage) but it's a great one to start out with. Good luck!  
 
If you test fry the batch after everything is mixed, you can adjust any of the seasonings to your taste. Especially if your going to stuff the sausage into links. The flavor is very vibrant when everything is fresh and will tone down after frozen.
 
 
Best "simple" breakfast sausage I have ever had (and still use) is AC Legg's #10 blend ... it is perfect.
