So experimenting with using bacon fat as a binder tomorrow for a cpl pieces of tri tip. I normally dont use a binder for tri tip, but can of bacon fat is calling name. Anyone else tried this before, any good or bad results with it?

I have been using beef tallow as a binder for tritip and steaks lately. I like it a lot. ...
You can cook veggies in it, wipe your pits down with it and apparently you can even grease your hair down with it. Sounds pretty cool. Might start doin' that.

Nothing wrong with bacon grease for sure, makes excellent food. I prefer duck fat most the time, not all the time, but both are excellent.
