Hey all...
Decided last night on my way home from work to smoke a whole chicken and some hot wings. I loosely followed SK92K's recipe.
Sorry not more pics of the "getting ready process" I was rushing as we took a small road trip this morning to show a few homes to some good friends in Boulder...got back @ 3:45...fired up TEFS (by fired I mean turned it on) put about 3" of maple pellets in the 18" AMNTS, went inside and injected the wings, rubbed the whole chicken (not in a way that would excite most normal people, but in a way that the masses on here would definitely enjoy!). Placed the chicken and wings in the TEFS @ 289* with TBS emitting from the exhaust vent... here's a pic after about 1.5 hours in...
I used Franks, Country Crock (OMG, we're out of butter...trip to Sam's tomorrow!), some Onion and garlic powder and finally a little bit of sugar and lowry's seasoning salt. Oh and some of my Serrano pepper chipotle....
