Hey All,

I'd like a beef brisket or beef rub that's sweet, but not to sweet.  Kinda a weak bbq rub....if possible.

**Recipe if possible**

****** What I'd like is a store bought rub if possible******  I live in Oklahoma...so WalMart or a website I could look at and purchase it from.

I have a buddy/coworker that's from Kansas City....he just raves about Author Bryants and Gates BBQ.  But...he keeps stating they're  not sweet...sweetish.  In my WalMart here in Oklahoma, I have Gates and Bryants BBQ sauce...but never tried it....yet!!

So....a rub, semi-sweet to full sweet....brown sugar. molasses, or what ever.

Yes, I'm a newbie and may not know what I'm talking about....little help please!!

Thanks!!

The sweetness is all relative to how sweet you want your rub. I would suggest purchasing Bryants or Gates and adding your own brown sugar............adding or releting till you have the sweetness you like.
