Brined the ribs for 2 days then dried them and put rub on and let that sit in fridge for few hours,I was out for a bike ride part of the time. put them in the smoker and then started my fire. I'm going to try some from a butcher next. They only want 60 cents more a pound

Looking good. Starting to get pull back. Cant get good beef ribs here at all.

Ya these are really boney. I don't blame them tho. If they can get way more for newyork steak they will take as much meat as they can pretty much as they did to these ribs but for 11$ bucks can't hurt to try them. These ones actually are more meaty then normal that's another reason I got them. Winco sells really boney ones for like 7-12$

I wish I could get beef Ribs here. Seems like the meat company’s only think we like pork and Tri Tip in California. Now that I joined this site and a whole new world was opened up to the various cuts of meat I see how much I’ve been missing. Anyways, sorry for the rant. Ribs look tasty.

Smoked them 7 hours low and slow at 225. They came out good and tender. Little salty but tender, just wish they had more meat.

I want to try my hand at beef ribs but I got the same problem of not finding a thing.. Even checked stores in advance, one said they had them...and I couldn't find them <nor the beef shanks they claimed to have>.

Is the texture on beef ribs like brisket?

Those look really good Moto. Normally we find them around the holiday season.

Point for sure.
