Bear Mountain Pellets

That's a fantastic price for BM. I buy cheap Walmart "Expert Grill" pellets and the price has held steady at <$7 per 20# for well over a year. They've even brought out a separate Bold and a Fruity variety at <$10 per 30#. And this all while the price of lumber (boards, plywood, OSB, whatever) has just sky-rocketed. Anyone know why pellet prices seem so stable or are even decreasing on the better brands? Hope it's not that they overproduced thinking our hobby would be more popular than it is.

Just saw some on sale at our local farm store for $9 a 20 lb bag. But didn't know anything about them or what percentage of mix they used. So since I'm still a rookie I went with Lumberjack for $ 12 a bag I believe. Do you like or use Bear Mountain often?

@Brokenhandle Ive used both and both have good flavor. Only major thing i noticed was more ash with Bear Mountain.
