Thought I had a shotof the Tips I added , But Trish erased them, Oh, well. I us the recipe on the Aunt Jemima "yellow" Corn meal ...place a C.I. pan in the oven @425° with a bit of oil in it and some 'plain' Cornmeal sprinkled over the bottom as it is heating -up. By the time you get your "Batter" made ,it will be hot enough. Pour the batter in level it and cook for 15 to 20 mins. or till a toothpick comes out dry.
Cut ,add to beans and you're in Heaven. Cornbread is also great for Breakfast - in a bowl with Milk over it(actually Buttremilk is better).
