We’ve had the Broilmaster for over thirty years. This is the second rebuild and I’m amazed that I can still get all of the parts. I really like the cast aluminum kettle, it holds the heat evenly and cooks beautifully. But, the burner was rusted out and the valves were weeping a bit.

I replaced pretty much everything that can be replaced and painted it. I used the pressure washer on it and that did a great job.

All set for another fifteen years!

Looks great! I'm most impressed that the lettering by the controls is still there. That's my gripe about the Weber Spirit we have. The natural degreaser I use to wipe down the exterior has taken off all the lettering.

Actually, I replaced that as well.

I love fixing something back up to like new when it is high quality like this. Good job! I hope this grill gets you another 30 years of hard use!
I restored a lot of MGs, trucks, and the occasional airplane. The BBQ wasn’t much worse!
