My GMG is the same, or has the same capability... it runs off 12 volts.
Just different cords... so can plug into an outlet, power port on vehicle, might even have a set of alligator clips... would have to double check that.

I feel like if they made this for “campers” needing batteries to cook goes against the whole thought of “camping”…… however. Let’s see some reviews 
"Hey!!! my battery died halfway through my brisket cook. Is it still safe to finish the cook now that the battery is charged?"
