Auction house finds

Was working in an area yesterday that has a big auction every other Thursday night. Tonight being on.
Spotted several items of interest and can hopefully swing by tonight for some deals.




Would really like to grab the Lodge burger press and found these in the back corner for the next sale.



No dent that's a shadow.
Owner said the grills usually go for $10 or so

Me too and I've got my reminder alarm set for 2 weeks. I will not be late and hopefully can grab both!

Hopefully it got passed over tonight and will be there next sale. Stayed for an hr and they were probably 2 hrs from getting to my table of interest. Too much work to do before the AM and didn't alot enough shopping time.
But did learn the process.
When it gets to tables, you point out your item of interest for the workers to hold up and to start the bidding. There may be 50 items on the table. When the desired items are sold, the remaining items left on the table start at $5 ! Unbidded on items carry over to the next sale.
I will take my sleeping bag next time to snag that 26 kettle!

Yeah, I'd have to take a trailer with me...Auctions like that are my nemesis. Good luck on the kettles.

I just bought a random cast iron press at Bass Pro Shop. Use it whenever we cook on the old-wood stove during deer season. It smells so good!

The press was already gone as it was on a table near the front
But the place is open to pre-shop during the week. Maybe i cam go in and "rearrange " all of my hopefuls to one table
