I don't. Not sure if it is a good idea or not. If you buy prepackaged meats from the store though check the labels as there is a chance that some might already have phosphates in them.
If I am paying more for quality(free range, grass fed, organic), the addition of phosphates is something I always avoid.
When I go for the best possible deal/price, most of them have phosphates added to retain moisture(and weight).
Several studies have indicated the addition of phosphates to foods are considered carcinogenic. I'm sure there as many studies that refute those findings.
