Anyone use a pellet grill for smoking?

I am contemplating the purchase of a pellet grill to replace or compliment the GOSM.  Do they cook as well as they claim? Overall, are the pellet grills worth the money?  I am looking at spending 600-900 on one.  A couple brands I  am looking at are Royall and Sierra.  Any opinions?

Yes, I have a Green Mountain Daniel Boone.  Originally thought about a GOSM Big Block but after I saw how easy this was I was sold.  Had it 3 months so far and don't regret a thing.

Pellet head here!  I like it, after the 2009 ice storm though I did add the Stumps to my arsenal.  14 days off the "grid" will make you consider alternatives.

I always get great compliments on whatever I cook with the pellet cooker.

I have a green mountain Jim Bowie pellet smoker and really like it. Have just about cooked everything on it but a brisket. It really keeps the food moist.
