I have the Maverick ET 73 and need some replacement probes...
I ruined one in the door and another while smoking @ 350*(?)

Has anyone tried the high temp probes using high heat?

I say w/ all the brains on this site we invent something to rival these thermos. that are basically designed to sell replacement parts.

Yanno I have threatened to do so... a good stainless armored cable... probe flooded with RTV to preclude any moisture... just need a little tooling. Hmmm...tool guys? Any input?

Geek with Fire probably has allready made one that he monitors on his laptop, picture in picture on his TV or maybe even his cell phone !!!

Maybe even some kinda wireless probe....One that is magnetic so you have no wire to run into the smoker and worry about kinking it........Just a thought..........
