Hey all, was in Ace Hardware today and noticed they started stocking a new to me brand of pellets I’ve not seen before. In the past all they have stocked was Traeger pellets… which I would only use as a last resort!

Anyway, just wondering if any of you all have seen this brand or tried it and your thoughts! At $12.50 a bag, I’d stock up a bit if these are good! Thanks in advance for any input!

I've never heard of them, but at least you know they're not made out of food.

Chris

I didn't see a "Made of 100% hardwood" tag either. So I'd be cautious.

Around here, Lumber Jack pellets reg price at Bomgaars is $11.99/20 lb. Often on sale as low as $9.99 I've never had a problem with LJ

No argument here… LJ is top of the line pellets. My only issue is our Farm and Ranch store that sells them does not keep them in stock consistently… so I try to stock up. But just looking for other options as a backup!

"Hickory Blend" turns me off .......... I prefer buying 100% hickory, cherry, etc. I am plenty capable of blending my own variations, and actually prefer making my own blends.

Our Home Of Economy store that I always bought my LJ pellets from switched over to Running Store. I saw no sign of the LJ pellets there😭
I may talk with the manager, and see what he says. Same guy as HOE manager so I'm sure he knows how they sold compared to traeger pellets.
