For that price I don't think you could go wrong.
 
Whoa!!!! 1,000watts is a lot of heating power in that small box.  Some smokers have less wattage than that.
 
Noticing the wattage of that unit made me curious.  I pulled the specs on my LEM 10 tray model and it has a 800 watt heating element.  I guess I never really thought about dehydrators having that much wattage before. I'm used to reading posts about "watt burner" smokers in the 900 to 1200 range (for commercial models) and 1500 range for home built.  I know I like my LEM and it has the plastic body and trays.  Hard to go wrong with stainless.
