Archers (many locations) and sweet peas are pretty good. Archers wins most of the awards and has about 8 places in town.

I like Smoking J's on Rutledge pike when I get to Knoxville. I'm 120 miles NE. If you are going to the Bristol race make a point to find Ridgewood near Bluff City. Also Phil's Dream Pit just a half mile off I81 between Kingsport and Johnson City.
