Been at least a year since I've busted out the smoker. It's a rarity that I cook, so I figure mother's day is as good a day as any. I'll be doing some Memphis style baby backs on Sunday. What are you all planning!?
Tip-Tip!!! WOO love the TT. So does the wife. She likes the more medium ends and I get the bloody center cuts - wins for all! Smoke for a couple hours then reverse sear at 500 for a couple min.
have 2 Boston's dry rubbed, one with heat added and one just Jeff's rub for early start Sunday. Gonna try higher temp like many suggest, I have always temped in 225-235 and like 16hrs, but gonna go 275-290. ill have my mom{sister helps} make the potato salad, I like her german style, I just cant yet match it. but i'll have to soon she's 85. my grand daughter will do all the setting serving ect, wife will help..jeff
