Fired up the BFG again for a double smoked spiral ham. First shot at one and it did not disappoint.

basting with bacon grease I saved from some breakfast multiple times through the cook.

mixed half the maple glaze packet with some peach bbq sauce I made for the last 20 min or so

Final plate - I took the bottom piece that was crispy and dried, almost like smoked ham jerkey, lol. Sure was tasty!

Very nice! Ordinarily I’d have done one today but just my wife and I minus the normal 15 guests or more. I made Chinese :)
 
Thanks for the likes everyone. I was happy the way it turned out and the only dry parts was the bottom slice, and the very top. Me and the wife have plenty of leftovers for future meals.
