After a brief chase, the homeowner confronted the suspect who had allegedly stolen from him. During the confrontation, the homeowner told police the man reached for a weapon, causing him to shoot.

Not saying I'd do it, but you can shoot someone stealing your stuff in Texas. Not so in KY, there has to be a threat of death or grave bodily harm.

Now wait a minute, stealing one of my smokers would interrupt my nutritional uptake greatly, so that might equal grave bodily harm. lol
