I purchased this unit a few months back and used it over the weekend for my first long smoke.
While I have nothing to compare it to as it's my first remote, I can say I couldn't be happier.
Instructions are easy to understand and programming was simple.
All four probes tested accurate in ice and boiling water.
I can not attest to its advertised 1500 foot range but I never lost signal roaming my home and property nor when i visited my neighbor across the street.
After a 15 hour smoke i showed 3/4 battery charge remaining on the rechargeable batteries on both the sending and receiving devices.
The programable high-low temp alarm worked perfectly as well as two of the remaining three probes I used for measuring IT.
For a basic remote I question whether you can do better...especially for the price.

Thanks for your awesome feedback!!

I also purchased this unit a while back and can attest that it works as advertised. The only issues I had were making sure the probes were fully inserted, and I had to re-sync it. Neither were difficult to do.
