I purchased the Smoke Hollow pro 44"  Price was too good to pass up for a propane smoker.

Most certainly!!  I have been putting off putting it together so I can get some help cause man that sucker is heavy!  Once I do, I am going to smoke all sorts of stuff and post tons of pictures :-)

I think you will like it.  I liked my first one so much that I bought another and use it as an outdoor oven when I have parties.    There are a number of threads for Smoke Hollow and the Smoke Hollow 44.   You might do a search and give them a read through. 

I haven't done any of the mods as of yet.   One thing I did do though was buy some AMNTS tube smokers from Todd over at Amazenproducts.   I just got tired of refilling the chip trays 

  Now I just choose an AMNTS based on how long I want to smoke for, load it with whatever species of pellets I want to use, light it and I'm done.

I did buy the 18" AMNTS and a 35lb bag of lumberjack pellets.  I also got a few bags of wood chunks in different flavors to try out.  Get out my old trust hand axe and can make some chips from the chunks and have a mix going.  I like to experiment see which works out best.  I also like that I can use the AMNTS in my grill!

I think you'll like the AMNTS.   You might have to experiment a bit and move it around inside your smoker to see where it works best.   And yeah, it's great with a grill as well.    It also comes in handy if you get into cold smoking as it puts off very little heat.
