Nice looking build. Do you have a deflector, or water pan, etc. or is it open straight up from the firebox? I would be interested to know what your temps are like across the cooking grates.

I do have a deflector. 26" long piece of a box trucks frame rail, 1/4 inch. I will post a pic tonight flr you. I am iterested to see temps as well. Hoping to get it sealed up this week an do a test smoke before i paint her up. Thanks for look'n

Looking good ceno.Since we are neighbors I might have to come and taste test that bad boy for ya.

That is going to be a real beauty when you get it completed

Nice looking rig. I had a double stack out of 55 gallon barrels for a few years and it cooked great. Dam nice welding job on that thin metal!. I kept blowing holes in mine but I'm for sure no welder! Can't wait to see some grub off it!

Ordered up some temp gauges last night an picked up some latches today. Can't wait to get her sealed up an cook'n! A friend of mine has access to a welder so he has done a great job.

II'm also working on a T drum smoker. Are you going to run charcoal/wood for your heat source? If so I'm curious about how easily you can control the temp once it is up and running? Looks great keep up the good work!
