So i picked up a 8lb pork but from walmart. This is my first attempt at smoking pork So i am pretty excited. 

I would love any input and tips that people have. Ill be smoking in my MES 30. I have done a lot of beef and salmon. So i am not new to smoking, but this is my first pork butt.

Thanks guys for the articles. I think i am going to try it unfoiled and take it to a temp of 190. 
 
Here is the qview of the pork in the smoker. Pulled it out of the fridge this morning and she is looking great! The smoker is set at 220 and I am going to take the pork to 190.

I am using a Hickory and Mesquite wood mix. I have the chips soaking in water while the smoker warms up a little.
