Using mine right now. Very nice at the sale price. Temps on both probes are accurate compared to my Thermoworks. The only bad is transmitting distance. Nowhere close to 150 feet, maybe 50 feet? So it's very functional, nice long probe wires, just disappointed in the transmitting distance. BTW the grill mats are very nice, got a good deal there.

Hello friend,If you use the unit on a open area?Guess the wall barrier or mental roof prevent the signal.Can you install the app to have a try or change a phone?

Using the app on my phone, probably too many walls and upstairs but can't be more than 100'. My Thermopro has no problems with the distance but it has it's own receiver if that make a difference.

Yes,The signal of Bluetooth type bbq thermometer will be blocked against walls. Our Inkbird Waterproof 1500 feet grill thermometer IRF-4S won't have this problem.It's a receiver and transmitter type.
