Looks like some good deals

I'm looking for discount on RFX probes. I'd like to buy two more, if they price them right.
@Smokin Okie I just got an email from TW with this offer for probes.

To say thank you we're offering an exclusive loyalty discount:

👉 Take 35% off additional RFX MEAT™ probes—just for you. (That's only $61.75 per additional probe).

Use Code: GETMORERFX

I smoked four whole yardbird halved, on the PBX last Friday. Could've used two more RFX probes.

And four will come in real handy when I smoke two pork butt on the Franklin offset.

I went to the Thermoworks site and ordered the white Thermapen One since the price is $69 now with the sale price on the glow in the dark protective silicone boot with magnetic back and lanyard for $11.20. $94.54 with tax/sh out the door.

Kinda bummed about my Thermapen order in my post above. Not that it came a couple days late. Most therms come without batteries installed but the Thermapen does. I unscrewed the cover before even unfolding the probe and saw the Powerline AAA battery by Panasonic already installed. I was going to put in an Energizer Max leak proof guarantee battery or even better their Lithium Ion AAA. I tested the Powerline and it showed 1.38VDC. I tested the Max and it's 1.61VDC. I called Thermoworks to get the build date per model and serial number and while holding found the calibration date showing it's a year and nine months old 2.23.24. When she asked for the serial number she said it'll start with a letter and 25. I said no it's B24........ She got a tech and he said the 24 is because it was made early 2024. I said, is it a demo, blemished, open box, damaged box etc like they advertise for discounted products they are always selling. He said no it's new and probably on a pallet that has been over looked. I said with first in first out inventory I don't understand a missed pallet for a year and nine months. He said, all is fine with it but he can always select one that has just been calibrated and send it with a return tag for the old one. It took me awhile to say yes do that and finally realized a $109.00 device that comes with a battery shouldn't be almost dead from sitting around and the CSR expected it to be a 2025 calibrated therm. So I guess this will be an open box sale item when I return it. IDK. I feel better knowing it's a new Thermapen One based on this years calibration date.

I'm glad they were able to get you a replacement, Kurt!
