    Got a 1200 watt from Aldi. Doesn't move a lot of water but seems to work. It was $50 but I've seen them reduced to $35.

    We have a butcher shop here called Thurns. Been in business for over 100 years. They use 70% oak and 30% mulberry. The mulberry has to season for a year.

    Amazon prices fluctuate wildly. Looks like the price is 79.99 now. I have a link to the one for 49.99 that still works if anyone wants it. I couldn't pass it up for that price, especially since it's 1100 watts.

    49.99 delivered from Amazon. Chefman 1100 watt. Tried some flan and the cooker worked perfectly but recipe was way to sweet. Looking for a top or bottom round to try next.

    Can't beat Gary's vacuum sealer on price but I got a good deal on mine. It's a Rival reconditioned unit. Got it through Walmart on line for $19.99. No shipping, no tax.

    I was at Thurn's Meats in Columbus last week. They said they use oak and mulberry. Their smoked meats are incredible.
