Masterbuilt ELECTRIC SMOKER MODELS 20075315 needs wire replaced

Replaced wire. The inside wires look good. Still tripping. Guess this is common from searching but appears the solutions are varied. Thought about replacing element but think it's time to give up on this baby. Will look for some sales to get another for my rental house (we spend summers there)

Masterbuilt ELECTRIC SMOKER MODELS 20075315 needs wire replaced

The cord got burnt, I cut it and added plug. Drilled out rivets and exposed back but now would have to drill out bottom. Was thinking of just slicing 6 ft of 12 G wire to it or and put in a small box if they exist. If this doesn't sound safe, I will give up. I appreciate everyone's help. My...

Masterbuilt ELECTRIC SMOKER MODELS 20075315 needs wire replaced

    Baby back ribs slight odor

They weren't vacuumed packed. Did some reading and suggested washing them, rinse and let sit for several hours and see if improved. Smells better already. Will check in about 4 hours. The more you do stuff like this the more variable you come across.

    Baby back ribs slight odor

Have been smoking meats for about 2 years. Usually do beef ribs but my son wanted baby backs for a party. Anyway, bought 8 racks and one of the racks the meat is a little darker and has an odor to it. For what it's with the supermarket still has two days on the label to sell it. Probably...
