    Thanks...so you drilled it to 1/16 and then converted I to NG? And you rA saying that you would leave the orifice and burner the same and just connected it to NG......Correct?

    I got my Maverick from Todd a couple of weeks ago and love it. However, I can't figure out how to LOWER the temp settings on the BBQ and food min/max. HELP!! I have a brisket I need to start. I have read the instructions at least 3 times. I must be missing something. THANKS!!

    The threads on the inlet of the existin valve are 3/8 "flare" style threads. I found a needle vale at Ace withe that thread pattern already on it. I had to buy a $3 female x female adapter there and worked GREAT. Will post pics mod this weekend.

    Has anyone here tried adding Hardibacker to the exterior of the unit instaed of the interior? It seems that the insulating characteristics would be about the same, easier to install and maybe less messy for the grease?????
