    Thanks...I've already learned the trick of smoking for awhile, then wrapping in foil with some liquid to  make them extra falling off the bone tender. And FYI...Tony Roma's removes the backstrap from their baby backs as my son worked there one summer and that was one of his jobs.   I don't know...

    Baby Back Ribs at Costco

    Costco's baby back ribs already have the back strap membrane removed saving time and effort, and they seem to be extra meaty as well compared to Kroger or Safeway, or Sam's club ribs.

    Purchased a Masterbuilt 40" at Sam Club today!

    I like using hickory/apple mixed, sometimes with maple thrown in as well.  The idea to calibrate the thermometer with boiling water works fine in San Diegor or at Sea level, but for us in the CO mtns, water boils at a much lower temp...I'm at 7500', and beans take FOREVER to cook. So do what...
