Got a Masterbuilt Electric Smoker on Cyber Monday to replace my old Master Forge charcoal smoker. Got a 5.5lb butt in the smoker, going on 7 hours and man alive is this thing amazing. Haven't had to worry about the temp the entire time.

Question, who long in advance do you inject them? Right before as the smoker is getting up to temp or a few hours prior?
