    Thanks raptor700 for the tip. That loin turned out great.... (if anybody cares)Smoked it for 3 1/2 hours at 225 checked temp them took smoker to 300 for about 40 min to get the meet to temp.pulled the meat at 155,sliced.....inhaled. I was hoping to have some left over for a sandwich the next...

    Newbie Pork Roast tonight

    I'd love to add a picture, but I'm having trouble uploading pics to threads and to my avatar. anybody else have this issue? I can add pics to my albums I'll try to put one in there.   I'm thinking about giving it a dry rub and slicing it when done.It looks pretty lean. approx. 3 lbs.

    Newbie Pork Roast tonight

    I'm new to smoking and yesterday was my first trial run. I made hamburgers because thats what we had in the fridge. I found a pork roast in the freezer and its defrosted. I dont know what kind of roast it is, but its approx. 3 lbs. I'm looking for some good recipies and tips. thanks

    Thanks, any tips on how much wood to use?( i have chips at the moment) some of the threads talk about going easy on the smoke with burgers... times and temps wouldnt hurt eather
