Green Buttonwood
That is my plan, probably do a pork butt this weekend. Its crazy what wood costs here and there are literally piles of cut buttonwood in everyones backyard. It mostly gets used in fire pits.- Smokinindakeys

I have searched the forums and see a few people using silver buttonwood. I have an abundant supply of green buttowood and heard it can be used for smoking. Does anyone have experience using it for pork, beef, etc?- Smokinindakeys
