Searched pork loin and found this post. WOW...definitely need to try it! My loins usually end up as breaded tenderloins (it's an Iowa thing.) Do you have a general idea how long this would take to smoke and I didn't catch a smoker temp? Thanks!- inkitchenwjenny

I haven't had sauerbraten in quite some time. My dad was stationed in West Germany in late 70s and my mom learned to cook several dishes. Definitely something everyone should try to make. It's not hard and yes, so much better than the store stuff. Slicing was the tricky part with my little one but then my husband bought me a huge, takes up the counter(and 2 to carry,) meat slicer that cuts through it like butter. Whatever...- inkitchenwjenny
