First time ribs
Smoked a 10# pork butt (for tomorrow, in the back of the smoker) and 2 racks of ribs and 3 turkey legs for dinner this evening… went heavier with the rub today with better results… turkey legs (first time also) came out very good, my grands chowed down on ‘em! Still having issues with my...- x-man

First time ribs
Just got my stick burner a few months back and have been learning how she rolls with shorter cooks (chicken, turkey breasts). Tried ribs the other day and was wowed! These are gonna have to be in the rotation! Have a 10 pound pork butt for this weekend, so it’ll be interesting how it goes…- x-man

Had 3 shorter smokes (chicken) to see how she burns and just learn the fire, split consumption, large splits vs small splits… ventilation and smoke stack (6”) adjustments… all 3 smokes she wanted to settle in right around 275… is that too hot? -

3+ years ago my brother gave me his old Masterbuilt ES, which just sat in the corner of my garage for well over a year... until Covid hit,,, and then I rolled it out and began my first smoking experience... since then I've spent (waaaay) too many hours on my computer drinking beer at night... -
A-MAZE-N pellet tray in a Materbuilt MES 30
For some reason my pellet tray always seemed to stop burnig after an inch or so.... BUT my pellet tube always worked... never figured out why but I tried the tray about 6-7 times and the tube a dozen or more times. Put it on the bottom and leave the chip tray slightly open...- x-man
