    Spring cleanup time

I've kind of been cleaning as I go and with the mild winter we've had I have been using my grills and cookers enough that they are in pretty good shape. The only one I need to get out and check is the 14" WSM but it was cleaned pretty good before putting it away last fall. I will probably use it...

My first time using my new used wsm 18 inch.

Welcome go the forum, Josh. Not sure what to add. Starting with twelve lit brickettes, I never had a runaway like that. But I have always been diligent about closing down the bottom vents as the temp nears 200*.

    Bass Pro / Cabellas

We have two BPS and one Cabella's in the metro area. I have to say I liked Cabella's a lot better before Bas Pro bought them. But all of the stores are nice, really enjoy going there.

The wife and I just finished watching The Chosen. Three seasons and I think there will be a fourth. Great acting, great soundtrack and great story! Now we are starting on Jamestown.

    WSM 18" coal burn time

Welcome to the forum Turk, glad you joined us. What you described sounds like my experience as well. Smoking chicken, turkey and ribs I would have plenty of coals but large pork butts and brisket, more than about six hours, I always had to add coals. It just became part of my process. @sandyut...

    How do YOU make coffee?

Heck yeah, I'll bump this old thread. I'm in the 3+4÷2+6 category and certainly not a coffee conesour. Here is how I've been doing it for the last six months or so. The AeroPress setup. Heating 10 oz. water, no pod. Place new paper filter and assemble. Add a heaping scoop of your...

    The BBQ Gun Thread

Never been to a rendezvous. I'm sure it's a hoot. I do enjoy getting dressed up 1880's for cowboy action matches. Especially when the weather is cooler. Not so much in the middle of July. Our club, the Powder Creek Cowboys, will be hosting the Kansas State Black Powder Championship match this...
