Built a concrete block smoke house with an off set fire box. Producing great smoke but i am afraid it may be to hot for cold smoking a ham.
Opened cool air vent in the door to let fresh air mix with the smoke to cool it down some.
Any suggestions on what temperature to maintain and better...
I am building my first smoke house. 4ft by 4 ft by 7 ft concrete block with offset firebox.
Wondering how I should finish the inside concrete block so it can be cleaned easy.
Is raw unfinished block ok and if not what products are best for sealing and washable surface.
