Alright! Finally...after two pandemic related delays...the customer set a pick up date for this beast!
Last Thursday was the day, so the week prior was a whirlwind of progress....

Started to season about an hour ago.
Intake vent is adequate...does it's job well. Brings in enough air, doesn't when closed. The tuner plates are also doing their job. My Smoke X hasn't arrived yet, so I don't have accurate readings from inside the CC, but my hand-o-mometer is doing a good...
One month and a few days of side work, and we are done (generally). I'll deal with the rotisserie this weekend, but otherwise, with the arrival of the handles, we are good to go!
Tomorrow morning I'll begin seasoning and dry runs, should be cooking tomorrow evening.

I originally had to bump it out because the door was resting farther back. Then I added the rests and gained clearance. By then the stack was already in place.
Spent the last few days kicking it down the road and making progress.
I'm now waiting on my doorstep like a puppy. My spring handles are due today. After that I will begin to season it, do a couple of dry runs, and then comes the first cook.

I am definitely happy with my home shop, and my work workshop is a couple levels up, but I really do feel like I'm cheating with the waterjet.
I'm beyond impressed when I see gents doing equally clean work with an O/A torch. I need more practice...
Just waiting on door gasket materials and handle springs to arrive.
In the meantime, I'll be handling the exhaust, figuring out a latch setup, painting the outside, and seasoning the insides. My target it to be able to use it Labor Day weekend.
